B2B Inside Sales Team Lead

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven B2B Inside Sales Team Lead with a strong background in IT Services and Cybersecurity solutions. This role involves leading a team of inside sales representatives, driving lead generation, nurturing prospects, and ensuring the achievement of sales targets in alignment with the company’s growth strategy. The ideal candidate is both a hands-on seller and a coach, with proven expertise in the enterprise technology and cybersecurity market.

Key Responsibilities:

Team Leadership & Management

  • Lead, coach, and motivate a team of inside sales executives to achieve monthly and quarterly revenue goals.
  • Set clear performance metrics, monitor KPIs, and provide ongoing feedback and training.
  • Foster a high-performance culture through coaching, pipeline reviews, and skills development.

Sales Execution

  • Drive end-to-end B2B inside sales process, including lead qualification, consultative selling, and opportunity conversion.
  • Develop and execute effective sales cadences via email, calls, social selling, and digital channels.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to align on campaigns, lead generation strategies, and account-based outreach.
  • Manage and grow relationships with prospects in mid-market and enterprise segments, focusing on IT Services, Cybersecurity, and Managed Security offerings.

Pipeline & Reporting

  • Maintain accurate CRM data, ensuring clear visibility of leads, pipeline, and conversion metrics.
  • Provide regular sales forecasts, performance reports, and insights to senior management.
  • Identify market trends, customer needs, and competitive insights to refine sales strategies.

Collaboration & Cross-Functional Engagement

  • Partner with solution consultants, delivery, and product teams to ensure accurate positioning of services.
  • Coordinate with marketing for targeted campaigns, webinars, and demand-generation initiatives.
  • Act as a bridge between inside sales and field sales to ensure seamless customer engagement.

Requirements:

Must-Have:

  • 5–8 years of proven experience in B2B inside sales, with at least 2 years in a team lead / supervisory role.
  • Strong background in IT Services, Cybersecurity, SaaS, or Managed Services sales.
  • Hands-on experience with CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, Zoho, MS Dynamics) and lead generation tools like ZoomInfo.
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales quotas and leading high-performing teams.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and consultative selling skills.
  • Ability to build rapport with C-level executives and IT decision-makers.

Nice-to-Have:

  • Familiarity with frameworks like NIST, ISO 27001, Zero Trust, Cloud Security.
  • Exposure to channel sales / partner ecosystems in cybersecurity.
  • Experience in global markets (US, EMEA, APAC).
